As a part of IDEAZ, the Business Idea Competition organised by The Entrepreneurship Cell, six workshops were carried out across 4 prime IITs. The workshops  educated the students on various facets of idea identification. They aimed to make the students aware of the various ways and domains in which opportunities can be identified and what approaches can be taken to come up with innovative business ideas.

Also, for the first time ever, as a part of IDEAZ, participants got a chance to refine their ideas through online mentoring. After submitting an initial draft of the idea, participants could post questions on which they needed help. Their queries were answered by consultants. The teams could then refine their idea before submitting it finally. It was a good opportunity for teams to interact with experienced personnel and  gain valuable comments and insights. The online mentoring was done in two rounds:

Round- 1
Date: 29th – 30th August

Round-2
Date: 1st-2nd -3rd September

According to Saurabh Agarwal, director of Kennis Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., online mentoring partner of Ideaz, “The online interaction with the teams was a good experience. Some of the teams showed great promise and with round two of the mentoring we really saw a drastic improvement in the ideas.”
