IdeaStorm

E-Cell, IITB brings to you IdeaStorm, an initiative of MIT Sloan Entrepreneurship Club which started with a regular discussion of new startup ideas over a couple of drinks, which in time grew into a fast-paced, lightly moderated, high energy brainstorming session. Its motto: Creative Ideas + Entrepreneurial Minds = Great Teams + Hot Startups. Bring your creativity and feedback for peers, brainstorm over general problems, over real-life problems of a startup and win prizes too!.

Format

A fun, on-the-spot event. Participants are divided into 10 groups, 4-6 people in each group. It consists of 2 stages:

1. Stage 1 - Challenge Question: Solution to a daily-life problem
   Each group is given a general question from daily-life to get their creative juices flowing. Given 15 min, interact, know your group, generate new ideas for old problems and get ready for the next battle.
   Example of a challenge question is “What is the next big thing in social media?” An article related to the topic will be provided to initiate the thinking process.
   
2. Stage 2 - Founder’s Dilemma: Solution to a real-life problem of a startup
   A startup CEO describes their company and a challenge or opportunity they are facing. In a 30 min fast-paced competitive session, come up with the best solution for the startup, judged by itself.
