Chairman: Germinait Solutions Pvt Ltd.:
A text analytics company (www.germinait.com) which does work for global and Indian companies by developing appropriate Artificial Intelligence based IT solutions which access and analyse consumer generated information from various digital sources ( social media, customer feedback emails, call centre notes, etc.). This is used in MR, HR, PR, Branding, Customer Care, Lead Generation, Customer Satisfaction assessment, etc.

Education:
He is an Engineering graduate from IIT, Bombay and a Post-graduate in Business Management, from IIM, Ahmedabad. He also holds a degree in General Law from the University of Mumbai. He has won several awards for academic performance along the way.

Experience:
38 years as a doer-manager, entrepreneur, adviser and mentor. This has given him exposure across functional areas, across industries and across countries.

After working in consumer durables marketing at Murphy first and later as a Merchant Banker with Grindlays Bank for 6 years, he set up a marketing research and marketing advisory company, which later evolved into a management consulting company. As a strategy consultant, he has worked for companies in diverse industries in India, USA, Europe, and the Middle East to help them develop strategies (for growth, positioning, pricing, market share, new products/ services, entry into new markets, shareholder value creation, etc), aligning strategy with vision, and has assisted some of them to help manage strategy implementation through balanced score card implementation, change management, and company transformation. Set up a successful marketing analytics company and supervises a text analytics start-up.

He is a Member of the Managing Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber. He is on the Advisory Board of the National Stock Exchange. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Asian School of Business and Advisory Board of the SIES School of Management, Mumbai. He is an active Charter Member of TIE Mumbai and mentors young entrepreneurs. He has lectured at various Institutions and conferences in India, the UK and the US.
