Structure of Eureka!
Over a period of 10 years Eureka! has been attracting the most enthusiastic budding entrepreneur across the country. We at Eureka! are always trying to improve upon the structure to simplify the process for the participants and make the whole procedure more transparent.
Recognizing the global need for clean technology, this year we have added special incentives to the best two teams in the category ‘'Cleantech'’. For more details refer Cleantech.

Stage 1

STAGE 1:
Filling up the Questionnaire form.
The Questionnaire should be answered strictly following the word limits. The questionnaire demands answers in the fields of Bussiness concept, Customer analysis, Market analysis, Business system description, Financials, Sustainability(for Cleantech entries) and Team description.
The Questionnaire can be submitted/edited up to the last day of Submission. It must be noted that the last submission would be considered as the final submission for the team. Last date to answer the Questionnaire is 4th October, 2008.
STAGE 2:
Intensive Mentorship program
Each Eureka! Second stage qualifier shall be assigned a mentor from a mentors panel, for the specified duration. The Mentor shall advise the team on various aspects of their business plan. The communication between the Mentor and the team shall be mainly through meetings and mails depending on their convenience. We will try our best to assign the mentor to a particular team in his/her own city or the nearest city depending on the availability of the Mentor.
Submission of a Rough Draft of Business Plan
The teams selected in the second round, after going through the Intensive Mentorship Program will have to submit a draft of their business plan. The format of the draft must follow the guidelines that will be given to the shortlisted teams. Teams will be allowed to participate in the Mentors Meet only if they submit the rough draft.
The Mentor's Meet
Eureka! is not only a B-Plan competition ,but it also acts as a support system for its participants. Mentor’s Meet is organized after the submission of rough draft of Business Plan where second Stage qualifiers shall discuss their Business plans with eminent Mentors having different domains of expertise and seek their guidance towards refining and further developing their plan. There will be sessions where in the teams can seek the advantage of One-on-One interaction with the Mentors.
The Meet gives the business community a social forum to interact with the best and most promising teams from across the globe, and a chance to meet other entrepreneurial leaders.
Submission of the Business Plan
The selected teams, after mentoring and guidance , have to submit their detailed business plans and a renewed Executive Summary. This stage calls for an exhaustive business plan that covers all details from Vision to Mission, Organization to Ownership, and Marketing to Exit Plan strategies.
STAGE 3:
Final Business Plan Submission and Presentations
The finalists would present their business plans before the Eureka! jury panel followed by the awards ceremony and open media presentations. The ultimate Business plan of the finalists will have to be submitted a week before the final presentation. The presentations will be made at the IIT Bombay, Powai Campus in Mumbai in the month of February.
